Challenge 20/20 is an educational program based in the United States which brings schools from all over the world together to come up with solutions to the twenty most pressing problems that the world is faced with within twenty years

        Al-Hekma International School is the only school in Bahrain that is a part of this wonderful educational experience. We are presently working very hard to come up with a sustainable solution to our challenge; which is the issue of water. We are working with a partner school in the U.S called Mount Saint Joseph Academy

  THE ISSUE AND THE STUDENTS INVOLVED

        As complex as the issue of water is, we have realized that it neatly falls into two categories:

 Ø                  Scarcity

 Ø                  Pollution

        We will have a detailed description of these problems on October 17^th, which will be submitted by Mohammed Al Khaja and Hussain Nezar.  Pollution will be presented by Ameena Kamal, Mariam Meamari, and Zahra Jaleel.

        We have also identified some factors that aggravate this problem.

 Ø                  Society/culture.
