Principal’s Note Dear AHIS Parents, AHIS would like to welcome all students and families to a new school year. AHIS has worked to improve each year and this year we are continuing in this theme. We will finish our running track around the playground in order to improve the student physical education. We have organized a morning and afternoon drop-off and pick-up area to the side of the school. During this school year we will complete our multi-purpose gym with swimming pool. Along with our facility improvements, we are continuing to improve our academics. We have welcomed new teachers in Music, Drama, Social Studies, English, and Math. We have our excellent returning teachers in Science, Math, PE, English, Arabic and Religion. We are continuing to focus on the MSA goals for technology and social interaction in order to develop well rounded students. In order to maintain the social development of our students, AHIS will of course continue with the varied extracurricular activities during this school year. It will be the second year for the Student Life Committee in Middle and High School. Our Student Councils will again be formed in Elementary, Middle and High School to help the school have an enjoyable; as well as, educational year for the students. To all our returning students and families it is good to see you back, and to our new students and families we hope this year will see your children settled and successful in a school that strives towards excellence.
