Stop Violence!

The International Day of Non-Violence is observed on the 2nd of October each year. This is the birth date of the Mahatma Gandhi, the leader of India's independence movement and the pioneer of nonviolence philosophy and strategy.

International Day is an occasion to spread the message of nonviolence, including through education and public awareness.

The Citizenship and Social Department at Al Hekma International School highlighted this event in the classrooms, morning rallies and reception venue on Wednesday 2/10/2019 highlighting the leaders of non-violence in the world such as Gandhi and Martin Luther and his Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa whose message was sponsored by the renunciation of violence and peaceful coexistence.
